The Bike Diva

Hi,

My name is Lynn Smythe and I will be your Bike Diva. We currently have 9 bikes at our house. My kids aren't bike freaks, they only use their wheels to get around the neighborhood. My son has an old Trek clunker which we got at our favorite bike store for only $50. My daughter is currently riding a Townie Electra that she got last year for Christmas.

My husband and I are the bike freaks in the family. He owns a Kona chopper, and three Cannondales - a Cannondale urban bike, a Cannondale mountain bike, and his carbon frame Cannondale road bike. I only have three bikes at the moment but am thinking about getting an urban bike. I have a Nirve beach cruiser for real casual rides (it has coaster brakes and only 3 speeds and weighs ten tons!). My other two bikes are Cannondales - an awesome mountain bike and my baby, a carbon frame Cannondale Synapse 2 feminine specific road bike.

I'll be posting about mountain biking, road biking, freak biking (chopper bikes, custom built bikes), charity bike ride events, my favorite bike gear and whatever else comes to mind that is related to biking.

OMG! I miss riding soooo much. I wish my house was sold and I could make a plan to ride that MS-150 in May. But, life is too uncertain right now. Please post your training rides and, if I can get over in the afternoon in between lacrosse practices or on a weekend, I will do it. I have to!!! I miss it!

Guess you found my new Bike Diva site through a link I added to Facebook? My site's so new that they haven't even added my logo banner to the front page yet so I haven't started to advertise it too much.

I'll email you the MS150 ride schedule in a few minutes. Rob and I did 75 miles this past weekend. :)
