Roger

I was wondering if you would be open to selling advertising on your blog. Please get in touch with me if interested. I could not find an email on your site which is why I am using this form. Please feel free

Hello Roger,

I would be interested in selling advertising space on the Bike Diva blog if your company has anything to with sports: cycling, marathons, triathlons, etc...

If you could provide me additional information about your company, and the type of ad you would like, we can continue from there.

Take care,
Lynn Smythe AKA the Bike Diva

HelpingVets

Hello - Thanks for allowing me to post. I wanted to tell everyone about the National Veterans Foundation which
runs "Lifeline for Vets," a crisis hotline that has fielded over a quarter of a million calls from veterans in need of emergency medical treatment, suicide intervention, post-traumatic stress disorder counseling, benefit advocacy, food, shelter, employment training or legal aid. If you are a vet or the loved one of a vet, and you need help, please call their toll free hotline at 1-888-777-4443 or visit their website at http://www.helpnvf.com.
We are working with Bob Filner, Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs to raise awareness of Veterans Issues and PTSD. We recently held a screening of the documentary "All the Way Home"allthewayback.com. on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 for the House Committee. The documentary follows a Montana fishing outfitter and his team of volunteers while they take severely injured Iraq and Afghanistan veterans from Walter Reed down an isolated river. It is a great film that shines a light on PTSD. "There hasn't been a movie or documentary or a creative piece like this that has moved me so much," say Shad Meshad, President and Founder of the National Veterans Foundation (NVF). You can see a trailer on www.allthewayback.com.
The National Veterans Foundation is one of the charities to receive proceeds from Vintner and philanthropist Bruce Cohn 22nd Annual B.R. Cohn Charity Events Fall Music Festival which will be held at the B.R. Cohn Winery Amphitheater, 15000 Sonoma Highway, Glen Ellen in Sonoma County’s wine country. “The charities need the resources more than ever”, noted Cohn. Over the years Cohn and the Doobie Brothers have been able to raise over 5 million dollars for various local and national charities including the National Veterans Foundation, Performers include festival favorites and Grammy winning artists the Doobie Brothers, who are not only managed by Cohn but over the years have sold more than 40 million records. Joining the Doobie’s are actor/musician Kris Kristofferson, hitmaker Todd Rundgren, the Turtles (aka Flo and Eddie) who have played the festival in past years and comedian/magician Michael Finney plus more performers to be announced soon. Tickets are on sale now for the Saturday, October 4 and Sunday October 5 shows. Showtime is at 12 pm. Visit www.brcohn.com for specific scheduling of bands and times for both days.
