I recently attended the first day of the West Palm Beach Publix Health Expo on Friday, December 5th. I volunteered to work the Team in Training booth, for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, for 3 hours on the first day of the expo. The expo coincided with the Marathon of the Palm Beaches which took place on Sunday, December 7th. I ran my very first half marathon at MPB in a time of 2:34:50 - WOO-HOO!!!
It Works!
I met a very nice gal at the booth next to the Team in Training table. Her name is Nancy Reagan, and she is an Independent Distributor for It Works! It Works! markets a line of personal spa products including It's Essential wholefood meal replacement bars, It's Greens dietary supplement and the It Works ultimate applicator body wrap. Nancy was kind enough to get me a sample of the It Works ultimate applicator to try out at home.
Ultimate Applicator Body Wrap
At first I was a tad bit skepticle, thinking the product was one of those compression wraps that simply causes a temporary loss of water. But after spending 3 hours alongside Nancy, as I manned the Team in Training booth at the health expo, I realized that she had a different product. The ultimate body applicator looks like a large plastic cloth, that has been impregnated with a variety of ingredients including horse chestnut extract, green tea extract, horsetail extract, butcher's broom extract and bladderwack extract. The wrap felt a bit tingly after I applied it, that would probably be due to the menthol, camphor and eucalyptus oil that are part of the ultimate body wrap formula.
Testing Ultimate Applicator
I used the ultimate applicator according to the package instructions. The applicator can be used anywhere on the body; including the thighs, back, butt or arms. I've always had a problem with a Buddha belly, so I applied the applicator to my stomach area. I kept the applicator on for 2 hours while I was watching a movie on Showtime. The instructions say to leave the applicator on for a minimum of 45 minutes. The ultimate applicator is disposed of after being used. Additional applicators can be used after 72 hours.
I took my measurements before and after using the ultimate applicator, and again 1 week later to see if the inches stayed off, or if I had reverted back to my original size. I am happy to report, that 1 week later, I was still the same size and hadn't regained the inches lost.
Waist - measured above belly button
after ultimate applicator - 1/2 inch lost
1 week later - same size, didn't regain 1/2 inch
after ultimate applicator - 1/2 inch lost
1 week later -same size, didn't regain 1/2 inch
after ultimate applicator - 1/2 inch lost
1 week later - same size, didn't regain 1/2 inch
Bike Diva's Opinion
The ultimate body wrap can help you get a jump start on a new diet and exercise regime. The ultimate wrap, by It Works!, would be perfect to use right before your 10/20/30 high school reunion, the annual office party, or a family reunion. But for serious, permanent weight loss, you need to reevaluate your diet, get plenty of exercise and drinks 6-8 glasses of water per day.
I just turned 45 years old this fall, over the past year I've lost 20 pounds and hope to loose another 20 by this time next year. Changing my eating habits and adding exercise into my life have helped me to loose the weight, and keep it off. I am all about slow and steady weight loss, not quick weight loss gimmicks. However; if you have reached a plateau in your weight loss regime, and you are getting a bit discouraged, using the It Works Ultimate Body Wrap can help you get back on track.
