The second annual Pedal for PAL ride takes place on Sunday, April 19. The ride benefits the Palm Beach County Police Athletic League. The ride starts at 7 AM from the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach.
Details on the ride: "With ride lengths of 16, 34, 62 and 100 miles there should be something for every riding level. You’ll find clearly marked routes, well stocked rest-stops, and plenty of SAG to help along the way! The Sheriff’s Office Motor Unit will provide escorts out of and back into the ride start/finish."
Here's the link to my report on the 2008 Pedal for PAL Ride: Pedal for PAL Metric Century Ride. My husband and I will be doing the metric century option again, at this years ride, along with some of our team mates from the On Your Mark Cycling Club.
