Ride info:
This time we will add a 70 mile ride to our famous 116 mile ride. The 70 mile ride will turn around at the second rest stop, and will only ride on the levee. The 116 mile ride will have three rest stops, and some sections will be on the road.
Rest Stops:
Their will be four rest stops total. Technically the first rest stop is for the 70 mile ride. The group doing the Big "O" is not encouraged to stop until the second rest stop. Food and dinks will be available at each rest stop. In order to finish the ride within a good time riders must spend no more than 15 minutes at each rest stop. The ride should not take more than 7 hours to complete.
This ride is just friends getting together and riding, no charity or organization is present and the money is just to pay for the food and drinks. You are riding at your own risk and serious injury, death and dehydration can occur. We have done this ride 5 times and nothing bad has happened and we are doing everything to keep it that way. Must ride with helmets and obey all traffic laws.
