On March 9, People for Bikes was launched at the National Bike Summit in Washington, DC. People for Bikes is a site trying to unite a million voices to improve the future of biking. People for Bikes is an initiative of the Bikes Belong Coalition.

Our goal is simple: to unite one million voices of support to improve the future of bicycling – to make it safer, more convenient, and appealing for everyone. With one million riders on our side, we’ll create a national movement with the clout and influence to get things done."
