Bike Diva Joins Team Aquaphor

I've got some exciting news to report. I've just been accepted as a member of Team Aquaphor for the remainder of the 2010 race season. I received the news last week, as I was doing my final preparations for the Tri Miami Olympic distance duathlon. I e-mailed my response on Monday morning and received a welcome to the team email later in the day.

I will be participating in a Team Aquaphor conference call later in the week, where I will get all the details of being a team member. They also plan to launch the 2010 team website sometime around June 17. I had to fill out some information for the team, including photos, race schedule, etc... which will be included in the website.

Aquaphor Healing Ointment

Aquaphor Healing Ointment is dedicated to providing athletes the ability to train and compete while being free from uncomfortable chafing, saddle sores, wind burned skin, dry lips, blisters, and other skin conditions that often occur during strenuous exercise. I had an issue with chaffing under my left upper arm, during the 10k run portion of Tri Miami - aquaphor to the resuce!

Aquaphor for Tattoos

Aquaphor also makes a terrific ointment for healing freshly inked tattoos. I should know, I have a dolphin tattoo on my right shoulder, a scorpion tattoo with floral vine on my left ankle, and a cool tribal, yin/yang, flames tattoo on my left upper arm. My husband has a gazillion tattoos, we have gone through quite a bit of aquaphor in our house.

About Team Aquaphor

Team Aquaphor was formed in 2004, and is comprised of 200 top-age group athletes who primarily compete in the sports of triathlon and running. I am a member of the 2010 Team Aquaphor athletic team, and I mainly compete in duathlons. I am pretty stoked, close to 2,000 applicants applied to be a member of the team. I was one of the lucky 200 that was chosen to be on Team Aquaphor - WOO-HOO!
